Deburring & Surface Finishing
• Perform precision deburring and edge finishing on machined, stamped, and formed aerospace components across a variety of materials including aluminum, titanium, steel (carbon and stainless), Inconel, Hastelloy, and other exotic/specialty alloys
• Remove burrs, tool marks, sharp edges, and surface irregularities per engineering drawings, work orders, and applicable specifications
• Execute secondary finishing operations including chamfering, radius, and hand polishing using files, rotary tools, and abrasive media
• Select appropriate deburring method and tooling based on part geometry, material type, and surface finish requirements to avoid dimensional or cosmetic damage
Assembly
• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components per engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly procedures, and work instructions
• Install press-fit pins, bushings, and bearings using appropriate tooling and fixtures; verify proper seating and interference fit per drawing callouts
• Perform hardware assembly including installation of fasteners, inserts, retaining rings, and other standard hardware

• Perform electrical bonding and grounding installations per applicable aerospace bonding standards; verify bond resistance using appropriate test equipment
• Assemble integrated mechanical assemblies including tubing assemblies, forging/spring assemblies, swaged assemblies, and liner assemblies
• Support electronics sub-assembly operations including wire routing, connector installation, and component integration as required
• Apply lubricants, sealants, and anti-seize compounds per assembly specifications
Part Marking
• Mark parts in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements using approved methods including:
Rubber stamp and ink marking
Stencil and paint marking
Bag & tag labeling and traveler attachment
Adhesive labels and part identification tags per customer-specified formats
• Ensure part identification, lot traceability, revision level, and material identification markings are applied correctly and legibly before shipment or next operation
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in deburring, assembly, or machining support in a manufacturing environment
