Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and related fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues; provide effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with contractors, construction teams, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship preferred).
- Valid plumbing license or journeyman certification (as required by state/local law).
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment effectively.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in tight spaces.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing.
- Knowledge of modern plumbing technologies (e.g., tankless water heaters, smart water systems).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
