Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bi-Lingual Retail Cashier to join our vibrant team! Duties
- Greet customers warmly in both languages, ensuring a positive shopping experience from start to finish
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital transactions
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist customers with product demos and provide knowledgeable upselling to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible
- Conduct regular stocking activities to keep inventory levels optimal and ensure product availability
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support store operations by supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth daily functions
Skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse customers
- Strong retail math skills for accurate cash handling, pricing, and transaction calculations
- Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures to streamline checkout processes
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform retail sales techniques including upselling and product recommendations
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management within a retail pharmacy/healthcare environment
- Effective communication skills for engaging customers and collaborating with team members
