Job Overview
We are a new produce market in Bridgeville, DE looking for Cashiers and Stock persons to make our business a success! In this role, you will:
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with sales
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking shelves as needed
Experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales processing
- Providing excellent customer service is highly valued
