Job description:
Fabricates and welds parts following blueprints and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs the function of building materials, belts, conveyors, etc.
- Reads and understands engineered drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings.
- Has the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Makes reasonable judgment with little or no supervision.
- Ability to perform pipe fitting task, tube bending and pipe welding.
- Uses precision instruments to align, tram, inspect, for proper fit.
- Ability to choose correct fasteners and knowledge of proper torquing.
- Ability to use all methods of welding and selecting correct method for the application.
- Available for offsite work as required.
- Have tools needed to perform job safely and efficiently.
What You Bring
- Proficiency with a wide range of tools and equipment.
- Ability to apply foundational mathematics and mechanical aptitude to accurately interpret blueprints.
- Welding background and metal layout skills a plus.
- Proficiency in industry-specific safety practices.
- Experienced forklift and crane operator.
