Opportunity:

Physician - Urology


Job Details:

  • Provide urology clinic and call coverage, typically 3 to 4 days of call per week

  • Round on inpatients with an average of 2 to 4 patients per day

  • Respond to consults in a timely manner with an average of 5 to 7 consults

  • See approximately 15 to 20 patient encounters per shift

  • Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (Urological Surgery)

  • Current PA license or IMLC preferred

  • General urology skills required with adult patient experience; pediatric and neonate experience preferred

  • Ureteroscopy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures required

  • Preferred skills include advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, fertility work-up, penile prosthesis, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), renal transplant surgery, and advanced pediatric surgery

  • Facility makes lodging arrangements for traveling providers

  • Nearest airports include Pittsburgh, Latrobe, or Johnstown
