Inpatient Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a prestigious academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center in

Practice Highlights/Qualifications:• First-assist in neurosurgical procedures including cranial and spinal cases
• Manage inpatient neurosurgery consults, admissions, and discharges
• Perform lumbar punctures, drain management, suturing, and minor bedside procedures
• Telemedicine coverage and stroke call support
• Round on neurosurgery inpatients and coordinate multidisciplinary care
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and lab work
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient neurosurgery APP experience required
• NP: Active Missouri RN and APRN licensure with Document of Recognition required
• PA: Graduation from AMA-accredited PA program with active NCCPA certification required
• BLS certification required
