Pediatric Hospitalist / Newborn Nursery Äì Bridgeport, CTPosition Details
- Full-time pediatric hospitalist role with newborn nursery and pediatric inpatient coverage
- Schedule: six weekday shifts + two weekend shifts per four-week cycle (13 cycles/year)
- All shifts are 24 hours
- Weekday shifts: on-site 5:00 PM Äì10:00 AM; phone availability 10:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
- Weekend shifts: on-site for the full 24 hours
- Responsibilities include:
- Newborn rounds - Attendance at scheduled and emergent C-sections - Phototherapy management - Occasional pediatric consults (ED/floor) - Newborn stabilization for transport - No circumcisions
- Teaching opportunity with medical students
- 24/7 neonatology support

Qualifications- BC/BE in Pediatrics
- Eligible for Connecticut medical license
