Facility:
This hospital is a well-established acute care facility serving the Northern California coastal region, providing comprehensive emergency medicine services to the surrounding community. The facility operates as a Level 3 trauma center with strong administrative support and is seeking qualified locum providers to assist with urgent coverage needs.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
  • Urgent locum tenens coverage needed for specific shift dates in July (12th, 18th, 26th, and 27th), with shifts running 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • $500 bonus tied to each urgent shift date
  • Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - no exceptions
  • Inpatient hospital coverage only with no call requirements
  • 20 patient encounters per shift expected
  • 10 guaranteed hours per day with overtime applying after 10 hours worked
  • Must hold an active California license - CA licensed providers only
  • DEA required; Board Certified or Board Eligible required
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Level 3 trauma center experience preferred
  • Clean provider file required - providers with malpractice history, NPDB flags, DUIs, drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions will not be considered
  • Must provide current CV, 24 months of relevant activity documentation, completed application, and references available to respond immediately
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 10 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
