We are seeking an Otolaryngologist to provide facial trauma and ENT call coverage in South Carolina. This is a call-only assignment with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities.
Overview:
- Call Schedule: 8a 8a (unless otherwise noted)
- Call Type: Hotel call (not in-house) after daily responsibilities are complete
- Facility: 500+ bed Level II Trauma Center
- Covering all ENT and facial trauma cases presenting to the ED
- Performing surgical procedures as needed
- Rounding on post-operative and inpatient cases
- Providing consults
- Must be comfortable managing facial trauma, including:
- Mandible fractures
- Orbital floor fractures
- Eyelid lacerations
- Approx. 5 6 consults per day (can be higher on weekends)
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- Active South Carolina Medical License
- CSR (Controlled Substance Registration)
- DEA (must be eligible for permanent SC registration)
- Comfortable working independently in a high-volume trauma setting
