Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care in an outpatient clinic setting, including managing pediatric patients and newborn care.
  • Participate in a rotating call schedule focusing on newborn care.
  • Perform required pediatric procedures such as intubation, ventilation management, and circumcision.
  • Coordinate care with a full-time local in-office pediatrician and utilize available clinic resources.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics is highly preferred.
  • PALS certification required.
  • Must be able to manage inpatient pediatric procedures.
  • Experience in newborn care and competency in specific pediatric skills such as intubation and ventilation management.
Working Hours
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • 10 days of call coverage per month
Skills
  • Proficiency in pediatric procedures and care.
  • Skilled in newborn intubation and ventilation management.
  • Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation tools like neo-puff.
  • Ability to perform newborn and pediatric intubations.
  • Competency in interpreting EKGs and X-rays.
