    Job Details
  • Provides service to adolescents and adults.
  • Produces high quality images for Radiology and the assigned areas within the Operating room that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology.
  • Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology.
  • Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves.
  • Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
  • Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
  • Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
    Job Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date of employment.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT).
  • ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of start date.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
    Schedule Information
  • 26 week assignment.
  • 8 hour shifts, Mon-Fri.
  • Start times 7 AM, 7:30 AM, and 8:30 AM.
  • Call will be assigned based on experience and facility needs.
    Additional Details
  • Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred.
  • Associates degree preferred.
