We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join a growing OB/GYN team in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive women's healthcare services in an outpatient setting, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Care
Perform comprehensive women's health assessments, physical examinations, screenings, and diagnostic evaluations.
Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and preventive OB/GYN conditions using evidence-based practices.
Develop and implement treatment plans, provide preventive care, and conduct follow-up visits.
Perform procedures within the approved scope of practice.
Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers as needed.
Care Coordination & Team Collaboration
Work closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Consult with collaborating physicians when appropriate to support optimal clinical outcomes.
Provide coverage across clinic locations as needed.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
Review and manage laboratory results, diagnostic reports, and patient records.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and chart review activities.
Quality & Community Engagement
Support quality improvement initiatives and patient care programs.
Participate in community outreach, health education, and wellness events.
Contribute to achieving patient access and productivity goals.
Professional Responsibilities
Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed.
Adhere to clinical protocols, policies, and best practices.
Engage in ongoing professional development and team collaboration.
Qualifications Required
Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
Minimum of 2 years of Women's Health and/or OB/GYN experience
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Commitment to delivering compassionate, culturally competent, patient-centered care
Preferred
Experience in a community health center, FQHC, or outpatient women's health setting
Bilingual in English and Spanish
