Job description

Opportunity:

Advanced Practice (CRNA) - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Job Details:

  • Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM

  • Locum Tenens request type with ongoing need

  • Patient encounters per shift vary

  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

  • Surgical types expected include cardiac, complete orthopedic, OB, pediatric, and regional procedures

  • General anesthesia required for adult patients; pediatric preferred

  • Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia required

  • Obstetrical and neurosurgical cases required

  • Complex orthopedic cases required

  • Pain management techniques required, including post-op epidural and post-op extremity blocks

  • Epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical required

  • Transforaminal procedures (lumbar and cervical) required

  • Ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues required

  • Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement required

  • Independent practice - CRNA supervision not required
