Position Overview We are seeking a Board Eligible (BE) Hematology Oncologist for a long-term assignment in Virginia. This role supports an established oncology center during their search for a permanent provider. Candidates within driving distance with an interest in long-term commitment are highly preferred.
Schedule & Workload - Shifts: 4 days per week (8 10 hours/day based on volume).
- Patient Volume: patients per day.
- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per week.
- Call Coverage: Beeper only (established patients).
- Phone-only consultations; very light volume (2 5 calls per week).
Requirements & Logistics - Certification: Board Eligible (BE) required.
- Licensure: None
- EMR System: Aria.
- Credentialing: Approximately 60 days.
- Housing: Dedicated apartment available for the provider.
