Locum - Physician - Anesthesiology - Cardiac Summary
Join a dynamic team at a well-established facility in Omaha, Nebraska, providing top-tier care as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist. This facility is a Level 1 Trauma and Academic Center, featuring 187 beds and 15 operating rooms, as well as advanced endoscopy suites and a well-equipped cardiology department. The practice focuses on open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases, ensuring a challenging yet rewarding role for qualified anesthesiologists.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide anesthetic care for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart surgeries.
- Assist with general OR cases as needed.
- Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in unrestricted overnight and weekend on-call duties.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient management.
- Support clinical education and training in the procedural setting.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Cardiac Anesthesiology.
- Completed a cardiac anesthesiology fellowship.
- Tee certified.
- Clean malpractice/background history.
- Minimum of five years documented CV anesthesia experience may be required if fellowship trained applicants are unavailable.
- Letters of recommendation from anesthesiologists and CV surgeons.
License and Certification Requirements
- NE license or IMLC (Highly Preferred).
- Current and valid certification in transesophageal echocardiography.
- Must provide a Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days.
