- Onsite coverage only
- Daytime coverage
- Weekend coverage required as scheduled
- No call responsibilities
Licensure Requirements
- Active Florida Medical License required (or ability to obtain)
Board Certification Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Ophthalmologist
Clinical ResponsibilitiesAmbulatory Coverage
- Tuesday: 8-hour clinic day
- Wednesday: PRN clinic coverage if ROP treatment is needed
Inpatient Coverage
- Wednesday NICU rounding for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)
- ROP rounds generally from 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Afternoon clinic coverage for ROP follow-up and treatment as needed

- Inpatient and Outpatient Coverage
Facility Requirements
- Onsite hand hygiene demonstration required prior to first shift

- All coverage is onsite; no telemedicine option available
