Ophthalmologist Opening Auburn, New YorkPosition Overview:

  • Seeking a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our growing practice.
  • The ideal candidate will provide medical and surgical eye care services, diagnose and treat ocular conditions, and deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
  • General Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and injuries
  • Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans
  • Perform surgical procedures (e.g., cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, LASIK, etc.)
  • Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology and best practices
  • Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency Program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Active medical license in State (or eligible for licensure)
  • Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fellowship training in subspecialties (e.g., Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Pediatric Ophthalmology)
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Multilingual abilities
