Job description

Coverage Needed

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Coverage Type: Infusion coverage at two locations with evening call coverage

Clinical Details

  • Practice Setting: Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
  • Locations: Two campuses
  • Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
  • Hematology: 50%, Oncology: 50%
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day (Outpatient): 30
  • Required Procedures: Management of VAD/CV Catheters, Bone Marrow Biopsy
  • Required Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Management of Bone Marrow Transplants, Orders Tests, Blood Bank, Orders Images, Prescribes
  • Administration of Chemotherapy: Physician, Nurse Oncologist
  • EMR: EPIC

Requirements

  • Board Certification: AMBS/AOA board certification in one, competency in the other
  • Active IN State License or IMLC with LOQ in hand
  • BLS Certification
  • Commitment to a long-term assignment (Minimum of 6 months)
  • Self-Query NPDB report required at the time of presentation (within 30 days)
