Outpatient Pediatrics opening - Oneonta, NYPosition Details

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Hospital employed
  • Progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University
  • Outpatient pediatrics in Oneonta, NY.
  • Office hours Monday through Friday.
  • Four 10-hour day work week option is available
  • After hours call 1:6 weeknights/weekends for back up coverage of advanced practice clinicians (APCs) in the hospital.
  • The pediatric inpatient service and Birthing Center are staffed by APCs 24/7/365 along with a daytime hospitalist.
  • The on-call pediatrician provides support in Cooperstown on evenings and weekends
  • Medical student instruction with academic appointment to the clinical faculty of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
  • Job Qualifications:
  • MD or DO, BE/BC
  • NYS Licensure, ACLS/PALS
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills, commitment to LGBTQ+ healthcare, and interdisciplinary teamwork
  • Employs principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in clinical practice
  • Benefits
  • Salary Range: $253,721 - $307,302.
