Job Description:
This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adults in an ICE correctional facility, addressing both acute and chronic mental health needs in inpatient and outpatient environments. The psychiatrist conducts full diagnostic evaluations, manages psychotropic medication regimens, and delivers therapeutic interventions tailored to a diverse and often high complexity patient population. In addition to direct patient care, the position oversees mental health programming, mentors clinical staff, and contributes to operational planning that supports the facility s behavioral health goals. The work includes collaboration with medical, administrative, and legal teams to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards. This position is essential in supporting the emotional well being, stabilization, and rehabilitation of individuals in a secure setting.
