24-hour in-house OB/GYN call
Average 3 deliveries per shift
5 7 admissions while on call
6 10 total L&D patients including postpartum
Less than 2 emergent GYN surgeries per shift
1 2 scheduled C-sections daily (provider covers cases scheduled by their service)
Rounding: 7 10 antepartum/postpartum patients
900 deliveries annually
Level II NICU (24-week gestational age cutoff)
Anesthesia onsite 24/7
Midwife support (not 24/7)
Two additional community practices also deliver at the hospital
Practice Environment
Epic EMR
Open ICU
Nurses and CRNAs perform neonatal resuscitation
APP support available
Temp privileges available
Credentialing timeframe: 30 days
Requirements
Board Certified OB/GYN
Maryland license (will accept candidates needing to obtain)
DEA and CSR required
Minimum 2 years experience
ACLS, BLS, CPR
Must perform inductions by VBAC
