We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is a flexible, rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.
Responsibilities
Perform patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to restore function and improve mobility
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury-prevention techniques
Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including PTAs, physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies related to patient care and documentation
Qualifications
Doctorate (DPT) or Master's (MPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current Florida PT license or eligibility for licensure
CPR certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Previous clinical experience preferred but not required
Work Environment
PRN position with flexible, as-needed scheduling based on facility needs
Potential work settings include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health
