Job Description
Merit Health River Region, a leading 361-bed acute care facility in historic Vicksburg, Mississippi, is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our established hospital practice on a PRN basis.
This is an ideal role for a physician seeking a highly flexible schedule, supplemental income, or a transitionary pace, without the administrative burdens of a full-time practice. Your primary focus will be ensuring seamless STEMI coverage and continuity of care when our full-time interventionalist is on PTO or otherwise unavailable.

Focused Scope: Pure interventional/STEMI coverage. No TAVR / No Structural Heart requirements.

Qualifications - MD or DO from an accredited program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Active (or eligible for) Mississippi medical license
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit
