    Job Details
  • Position: RN Emergency Room
  • Requires 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
  • May have assignments including boarded patients in the ED
  • Must be proficient with EPIC system
  • May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

  • Prior travel experience required

  • Shift: 11:00 - 23:30
  • Every Other Week (EOW)
  • Every Other Holiday (EOH)

  • Signed Assignment Agreement required for onboarding
  • Ascension Badge Photo required for onboarding
  • Ascension Specialty Exam required prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years
  • Ascension Color Vision test required prior to start and updated every 3 years
  • Ascension Core Competencies required within a year of start and updated every 3 years
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation required
  • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding done onsite
  • Ascension MOAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) required
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules required
  • Ascension Epic Test-Out required
  • MMR vaccination or immunity required
  • Fit Test required annually
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination required
  • Influenza vaccine optional but mask required if declined during flu season
  • Positive PPD with negative chest X-Ray and annual TB questionnaire optional
  • Health Statement or physical exam required prior to first assignment and updated annually
  • Driver's License/State ID required and must not be expired
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA required prior to start and updated annually
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity required
  • Tdap vaccination valid for 10 years required
  • Ascension Profile (resume) required for submission
  • Two professional references required
  • Criminal Background Check required and updated annually
  • EPLS check required and updated annually
  • Ascension Skills Checklist required and updated annually
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
  • Education verification required within 90 days of start
  • Confirmation of Assignment required upon initial assignment and updates
  • Employment verification for past seven years required and updated annually
  • Ascension CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required and updated every 2 years
