    Job Details
  • CT Tech position working 36 hours per week during night shifts on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
  • Under direction of CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead, performing diagnostic CT procedures with high proficiency following established policies and protocols.
  • Ensures patient safety and provides excellent customer service.
  • Preferred 1 year of CT experience but not required.
  • Skill sets include CT scanning proficiency, IV and oral/GI contrast administration, emergency response capability, EMR documentation (Epic, Visage), effective communication and organization skills, and professional demeanor.
  • Experience with GE CT scanner preferred but not required.
    Job Requirements
  • ARRT certification in CT required.
  • Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required.
  • BLS certification required (AHA only for Salem Hospital).
  • Must have primary source verification of professional license and/or certification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
  • Fit Test (N95) within 365 days of start date and updated annually required.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required.
  • Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot within 3 months of start date and updated if break >6 months required.
  • Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break required.
  • MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break required.
  • MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break required.
  • MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
  • MGB References (2 within 4 years, minimum 1 supervisor) required for submission.
  • MGB Skills Checklist completed within 1 year of submission required.
  • MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
  • MGB Education Verification required.
  • MGB SSN Trace required.
  • MGB National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually required.
  • MGB Exclusion Checks within 30 days of start and annually required.
    Schedule Information
  • 36 hours per week night shift.
  • Shift days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
  • Shift hours: 7:00pm to 7:00am.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: CT department.
  • Must have ability to respond effectively in an emergency.
  • EMR systems used: Epic, Visage.
    Additional Details
  • GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required.
  • Rotating shifts may be required as needed.
