Cashier

Cashier pay $12.00 per hour.

El Weinecero is seeking a part-time positive hardworking and reliable individual to join our team for the late-night early morning shift 8:30pm-3:30am outside at our mobile hot dog cart.

Applicants must possess experience in customer service in a fast-paced environment and have their own source of transportation.

Essential Job Duties:

• Full commitment to live by El Weinecero's core values.
• Support the restaurant operations.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables and cashier station.
• Run food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner, ensuring great customer service, accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Accurately utilize technology to efficiently complete food pick up and drop off service.
• Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant areas.
• Restock work station
• Assist with opening and closing procedures by cleaning and/or stacking chairs and tables, and sweeping floors.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding promptly to requests.
• Uphold safety and sanitation principles at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service.
• The ability to interact with guests in a charismatic, sincere and enthusiastic manner.
• Other duties as assigned from management.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of serving restaurant experience in a high-volume environment.
• Must have food handlers card or complete online food handlers course by time of hire
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have their own source of transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays items.
• Must be able to safely use a ladder.
