Worksite Setting:
Acute Care Hospital Community Emergency Department MD & APP staffing model

Hospital Details:

  • 20 total hospital beds

  • 4 ICU beds (open ICU)

  • 30 ED beds

  • Fast Track with 6 beds

  • Helipad available

  • Community hospital (non-trauma designated)

Scope of Work:

  • Emergency Medicine coverage

  • Evaluate, treat, and manage ED patients

  • Perform procedures within EM scope of practice

  • Supervise APP providers

  • Respond to floor codes

Schedule Options:

  • 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (12 hours)

  • 2:00 PM 11:00 PM (9 hours)

  • 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12 hours)

Volume & Support:

  • Annual ED volume: 26,000

  • Admission rate: 10%

  • Transfers:

  • Imaging available: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, bedside ultrasound

  • EMR: Epic

Required Certifications:

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • PALS

  • ATLS

Credentialing:

  • Estimated timeline: 3 6 months

  • Temporary privileges available
