CDL A Truck Driver Details
- Schedule: Day shift - 4am to 8am start, home daily
- Pay: Average $1,100 - $1,500/week
- Route Type: Local - home daily
- Freight / Load Type: Steel
- Handling: Touch - strapping only - NO Tarping
CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements: - License: CDL A
- Experience: 3 years of recent and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities: - Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport steel in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
