Locums Neurosurgery PA/NP (First Assist) Tampa, FL (FL license required)Why This Role
- Well-established, high-volume neurosurgery practice
- Strong team: 5 neurosurgeons and 4 APPs
- Adult and pediatric patient population
- Fast credentialing: 30-60 days
- Inpatient rounding with rotated call (1:4-1:5 night and weekend)
Assignment Details- Start: ASAP, ongoing
- Schedule options: Mon-Fri with weekend call, or 7 on / 7 off
- Commitment: full-time, 40 hours/week (minimum 2 weeks per month)
- Call: Beeper, rotated 1:4-1:5 for both weekend and night call
- Setting: Inpatient rounding with call
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: 30-60 days
- Nearest airport: Tampa International (or Clearwater/St. Pete)
Clinical Details- Neurosurgery first assist - inpatient rounding and call coverage
- Adult and pediatric patient mix
- Level II adult and pediatric trauma center
Requirements- Board Certified PA or NP
- Active Florida license
- Minimum 2 years of advanced practice experience in Neurosurgery OR
- ACLS, BLS
Compensation- Rate negotiable, open to your number
- Malpractice provided
- Travel and lodging reimbursed
