  • Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Start Date: Ongoing
  • Duration: Ongoing coverage need
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN; providers able to cover 6-8+ shifts per month are preferred, with an emphasis on nocturnist coverage.
  • Physician Shift Options:
    • 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    • 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
    • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

      • 27-bed Pediatric Emergency Department
        • 16 treatment rooms
        • 2 resuscitation rooms
        • 3 Fast Track beds
        • 2 triage stations
        • Immediate access to 4 trauma bays
        • High-acuity pediatric patient population
        • Physician Productivity: 1.94 patients per hour
        • 19% admission rate
        • 28 hours/day of physician coverage

          • Streamlined credentialing processWhat You'll Do
            • Provide emergency care for infants, children, and adolescents in a dedicated pediatric emergency department
            • Evaluate and manage a broad range of pediatric medical and traumatic emergencies
            • Perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated
            • Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, specialists, and hospital teams to deliver exceptional pediatric care
            • Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation and patient managementRequirements
              • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or
              • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics with completion of a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Fellowship
              • Active Oklahoma medical license required before credentialing can begin
              • Oklahoma DEA and Oklahoma BNDD must be in process before hospital application submission
