As a Certified Instrument Technician II, you'll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team committed to delivering safe, high-quality instrumentation that supports exceptional patient outcomes.What You'll Do: Under the direction of the Sterile Processing leadership team, you will:Maintain competency across all core Sterile Processing functions:DecontaminationInstrument AssemblySterilizationCase PickEnsure instrumentation is processed accurately, safely, and on time to support surgical servicesFollow all Lee Health policies, system protocols, and industry standards including AAMI, APIC, and AORNParticipate in team huddles and contribute ideas that support continuous improvement and quality initiativesSupport training and precepting of team members as neededHelp maintain a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork within the departmentWhy Join Lee Health? Experience: Minimum 6 months' Sterile Processing experience required. Licensure: none Certifications: Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Certification Other: Read, write, and speak English for work related communication
