Assistant Director of Academics

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director of Academics to join our leadership team and help shape the future of our school community.

The Assistant Director of Academics will play a key leadership role in supporting our educational mission. This role includes supervising and evaluating instructional staff, assisting with school operations, and collaborating with students, families, and teachers to ensure a high-quality educational experience. Reporting to the Executive Director and Director of Academics, this position is ideal for an educational leader with a passion for instructional excellence and student success.

Key responsibilities include supervising and evaluating assigned teaching staff, providing daily support to educational programs, implementing instructional strategies, analyzing student data, coordinating professional learning communities, transforming school culture, overseeing testing processes, supporting the Child Find process, ensuring compliance with IEP and 504 plans, collaborating on student interventions, addressing behavioral issues, promoting best practices in student engagement, ensuring compliance with school safety initiatives, and performing administrative duties.

What we're looking for includes 25 years of experience in educational administration, a bachelor's degree required, highly qualified and certified in a subject area, an Arizona Principal or School Administration certification, valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, teaching or leadership experience in a K12 environment, strong experience in staff supervision, evaluation, and leadership, familiarity with online education platforms and technology, excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic environment.
