Project Specialist Administrative Medical
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033 Hybrid
Duration: 6 months, temp to hire
Responsibilities include the development and oversight of ongoing and new workforce development initiatives including but not limited to:
- Centralizing clinical and translational research resources
- Designing navigation services for said resources
- Creating longitudinal works in progress sessions and seminar series
- Toolkit development with other SC-CTSI groups, e.g., Quality by Design
Early work targeting ongoing workforce development initiatives includes creation of standard operating procedures, webpages, logic models, evaluation approaches, translational science principles and domain/target audience mapping. Later work involves supporting the creation of new initiatives given expansion of workforce development initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio)
- Familiarity with or similar tools for project management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in a similar clinical/research project management role preferred
