Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Ultrasound-Guided Vascular Access
Locations: Dunn, NC Oxford, NC Raleigh, NC (1 position at each location)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM On-call TBD during interview.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with expertise in ultrasound-guided vascular access to join our growing clinical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience independently placing Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC lines) and Central Venous Catheters (CVCs) while delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Vascular Access Placement: Perform independent insertion of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) and Central Venous Catheters (CVC) using advanced ultrasound-guided techniques.
- Patient Assessment: Evaluate patient vascular health, medical history, and clinical indications to determine the most appropriate access device.
- Clinical Precision: Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques, infection control protocols, and safety guidelines to maximize success rates and minimize complications.
- Collaboration & Consultation: Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, and medical directors to coordinate seamless care and line maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain timely and highly accurate documentation of procedures, patient consents, and post-placement assessments in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Education & Licensure: Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with an active, unrestricted license to practice (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Specialized Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience and demonstrated competency in ultrasound-guided vascular access procedures (specifically PICC and central lines).
- Clinical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of vascular anatomy, line troubleshooting, and the management of procedural complications.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication, autonomy in fast-paced clinical environments, and a dedicated focus on patient comfort and safety.
