Urgent Care NP/PA
Position Overview
Seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide full-time Urgent Care coverage. The provider will work independently across multiple urgent care clinic locations, caring for patients of all ages with acute illnesses and minor injuries.

Practice Setting
Outpatient Urgent Care
Provider will rotate between multiple clinic locations within approximately 30 miles of each other
Drive-in candidates only (within a 2 3 hour radius)
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
Manage cold and flu symptoms, rashes, lacerations, abrasions, sprains, and minor burns
Perform:
Suturing and wound care
Incision and drainage (I&D)
Splinting
X-ray and EKG interpretation
Blood draws and IV placement
Treat patients of all ages, including pediatric patients (6 months and older)
Work independently with remote physician support available for escalation
Refer high-acuity patients to the emergency department as appropriate
Patient Volume
Approximately 3 4 patients per hour

Clinics staffed with 1 3 providers daily
Remote physician support available when not onsite
Requirements
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Pennsylvania license
DEA and CSR
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum 1 year of experience
At least 2 years of Urgent Care experience or 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience
Comfortable treating patients ages 6 months and older
Comfortable performing:
Suturing and wound care
Incision and drainage (I&D)
Splinting
X-ray and EKG interpretation
Blood draws and IV placement
Able to work independently
Drive-in candidate located within a 2 3 hour radius

Full and temporary privileges available
Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
Ongoing coverage due to team growth
Mileage, lodging, parking, rental car, and fuel reimbursement available per policy.
