Project Engineer Opportunity
ICI is seeking ambitious and driven Project Engineers with a Construction Management Degree to join our firm. Ideally, the successful candidate will have 1 - 3 years of experience with a Construction Management Firm. Project Engineer Responsibilities
Project Engineers at ICI are responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, both on-site and office based, from preconstruction through final closeout and must be willing to travel. Extended travel to project sites throughout the US may be required.
- Works with the Project Team to develop, drive and implement project goals
- Participates in New Project Setup
- Assists and supports the Project Manager in preparing and processing Owner and Vendor Contracts
- Attends project meetings and prepares / distributes agendas and minutes in a timely manner
- Receives and Processes Design Documents
- Assists and supports the team developing site utilization programs
- Monitors compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and policies
- Assists and supports the team with procuring building permits and coordinating inspections
- Maintains Project Directory
- Maintains and coordinates submittal review, coordination, approval, and distribution of shop drawings, samples, etc.
- Maintains and distributes all project files
- Assists and supports the team with preparation and monitoring of RFI's
- Maintains system to expedite construction materials, deliveries and equipment lists
- Assists and supports the team with change events, vendor estimates and proposals
- Prepares appropriate company estimates and proposals for changes
- Manages the punch list process
- Manages the Closeout Process
- Maintains open, responsive, and professional communication and relationships with all team members
- Maintains adherence to OSHA Standards of safety

Certifications, Licenses & Registration
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain the Walmart Safety, Employment, Waste, Stormwater Compliance Certification
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification or an ability to obtain
Physical Requirements
- Position requires walking on rough/uneven terrain, frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris of varying and often awkward sizes, shapes, and weights, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing on the job site.
- Sitting, standing and walking for extended periods. Climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders repeatedly.
- Occasionally may lift to 50 lbs.
