Job Requirements
- Valid physician credentials with the ability to obtain hospital privileges
- Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician preferred
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with 3 years of emergency department experience will be considered
- Clean file preferred for emergency privileges consideration
- Experience with standard emergency medicine procedures and acute care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- 1+ year of clinical experience preferred if not otherwise met through specialty-specific background
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care for a broad range of standard ED cases
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Perform standard emergency medicine procedures as needed
- Work collaboratively with nurses, techs, APPs, and other on-shift physicians
- Support patient flow in a busy emergency department with consistent daily volume
- Participate in rotational coverage and maintain smooth transitions during shift handoffs
- Deliver safe, efficient care in a welcoming Dickson, Tennessee community setting
