Our client in Maine needs assistance with Neuro Surgery-Endovascular locum tenens coverage.
Here are some of the details.
Location: Southern ME
Facility: Hospital; 637 bed hospital.
Practice Setting: Inpatient; EMR-EPIC (must have experience using EPIC)
Schedule: 24-hour call while on service. 2-3 predictable blocks of 3-4 consecutive days.
Practice Details: Vascular neurosurgical call only, 170+mechanical thrombectomies annually, 100 intracranial aneurysms treated yearly, dedicated neuro ICU and level 1 trauma rating.
Certifications: BC, active ME license or IMLC LOQ, fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery
Required Procedures: Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke, ruptured and complex intracranial aneurysms, subarachnoid hemorrhage, AVMs. DAVFs and other urgent cerebrovascular conditions that require open or endovascular management.
Highlights: No clinic, no elective practice, 100% inpatient and no outpatient follow-up.
