Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology
Join a leading ambulatory clinic in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky, as a physician specializing in Radiation Oncology. This facility is dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team. You will work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment, addressing various oncologic disease states and ensuring patients receive the best possible treatment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee patient treatments and conduct new consultations.
- Manage follow-ups and perform treatment planning.
- Participate in tumor conferences to discuss case statuses.
- Perform required procedures, including SBRT, IMRT, 3D, and SRS.
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient management.
- Collaborate with support staff, including RNs, Radiation Therapists, medical physicists, and Dosimetrists.
Qualifications:
- Active Board Certification Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- KY License or IMLC (LOQ in hand).
- Completed residency or fellowship in Radiation Oncology.
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have by start date), PALS, DEA (must have for assignment), NRP.
- Strong background with a clean history in malpractice; minor/closed cases considered on a case-by-case basis.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Kentucky Medical License or an IMLC.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
- ACLS, BLS, DEA preferred before start date.
