• Schedule: Monday to Thursday,
• Shifts per Month: 16
• On Call: Potentially one week and one weekend per month, phone calls only

• Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes, very infrequent hospital consults
• Hospitalists admit all patients; physicians field phone calls from hospitalists
• Job Responsibilities: Consults, follow-up care, oversee administration of antineoplastics in the clinic
• Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 2
• Nursing Support Ratio: 2 nurses per provider, along with referral and triage nurses
• Ancillary Staff per Provider: Reception, lab, social worker, referrals, dietician
• Services Offered: Antineoplastics, phlebotomies, IV IgG, iron therapy, bone marrow biopsies
• Number of Exam Rooms: 4
• Medical Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy
• Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 16-20
• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 0-2
• Appointment Length: Adjustable, 15/20 minutes for follow-ups, 60 minutes for consults
• Patient Demographics: 18 years and older
• EMR: EPIC
• Teaching Opportunity

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
  • willing to review candidates Board Certified in Oncology with strong Hem/Onc experience
• Active IA License or Active IMLC LOQ in hand
• Fellowship Trained in Hematology & Oncology
• Must be available at least 2 weeks per month (Mon-Thurs)
• Experience Highly Preferred, New Graduates Considered
• Clean Malpractice/Background
• Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month)
