NP/PA Locum Tenens Michigan
Start Date: Early August 2026
Assignment Length: Approximately 12 weeks (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday Thursday- 4x10
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to provide temporary coverage for an established outpatient primary care practice while a permanent provider is recruited.
Position Highlights

- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Average patient volume of patients per day
- Collaborative practice with multiple physicians and advanced practice providers
- No call
- No Emergency Department coverage
- No supervisory responsibilities
- 2 3 exam rooms available
- EPIC electronic medical record
- Temporary privileges available with an estimated 10-business-day credentialing process
Clinical Responsibilities
- Comprehensive primary care evaluations and management
- Evaluation and management of acute volume status and blood pressure concerns
- Women's health services, including pelvic exams and Pap smears
- Occupational medicine services, including disability examinations
Minimum Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in an applicable specialty (Board Certification required within three years of residency completion)
- Minimum of one year of primary care experience
- Active Michigan medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Available to work full-time Monday through Thursday
- National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) Self-Query dated within 30 days of presentation
- Local or driving-distance candidates strongly preferred
