Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Job Type : Full-time, Permanent (1099 also available) Monday - Friday, flexible work schedule Compensation: Permanent hourly rate: $135.00 - $150. hourly rate: $250.00Location: Munster, IN Relocation Assistance available

Responsibilities:Perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patientPatients per day: 2-10Call Rotation: 1 weekend per monthDevelop an appropriate anesthesia care plan based on patient history and surgical needsSelect, obtain, and administer the anesthetic, adjuvant, and accessory drugs and fluidsManage patient airway and pulmonary status using masks, endotracheal intubation, or mechanical ventilationFacilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia by selecting and administering medicationsProvide post-anesthesia follow-up care and evaluate patient response to anesthesiaSupport 28 ORs and Non-Operating Room Anesthesia areas including 7 GI suites, Cath Labs, and IRManage a daily patient volume of 2 to 10 cases depending on complexityParticipate in a 1 weekend per month call rotationUtilize AI-functionality within the Epic EMR system for inpatient and outpatient documentationMaintain compliance with HIMSS Stage VII standards for digital medical record sophisticationCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff in a multidisciplinary teamAdhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control standardsAttend departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational programCurrent state registered nurse licenseCurrent state advanced practice nurse prescriber licenseBoard Certified or Board Eligible by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse AnesthetistsCurrent ACLS and BLS certificationsProficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred
