Position Summary:

A Fiberglass Roller applies liquid resin and catalyst to fiberglass on molds, using rollers to eliminate air bubbles and ensure proper saturation, laminating layers to achieve desired thickness.

Duties and responsibilities:

Apply resin and fiberglass to molds, using rollers to remove air and smooth seams.

Mix catalysts into resins and apply to mats.

Inspect parts for air pockets, bubbles, or structural defects.

Cut excess fiberglass, trim, and finish parts, often using power tools.

Wearing PPE (respirators, protective clothing) is required and maintain a clean work environment.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend at waist, knees and stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment to include respirator when necessary

Must follow all safety standard and procedures, including chemical handling standards and Personal

Protective Equipment (PPE).

Knowledge of fiberglass layup, laminating techniques, and reading

Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Individual must have a High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to use specialty hand and electric tools

1-2 years of related manufacturing related experience

Accurate measurement capabilities
