Production Equipment Assembler

Liquid Packaging Solutions - La Porte, Indiana

Do you enjoy building things with your hands? Do you take pride in precision and quality workmanship? If you can read a tape measure, use hand and power tools confidently, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and enjoy seeing a project come together from start to finish, we'd like to meet you.

Liquid Packaging Solutions designs and manufactures custom packaging machinery for companies throughout the United States and around the world. Our equipment is used to package everything from bottled water, distilled spirits, and beverages to pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, oils, and household products.

Every machine we build is custom. This isn't repetitive assembly-line work-you'll use your mechanical skills every day to build equipment that solves real manufacturing challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble custom packaging machinery from mechanical drawings and work instructions.
  • Install and align mechanical components with precision.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, press-brake, shear, CNC router table, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment during assembly.
  • Work closely with our engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality machines.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for dependable people who take pride in doing the job right.

Ideal candidates have:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience assembling machinery, equipment, vehicles, or other mechanical systems (preferred).
  • Ability to read blueprints or mechanical drawings (preferred).
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, grinders, saws, and precision measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.
  • A valid driver's license.

Most importantly, we're looking for people who:

  • Show up every day and arrive on time.
  • Take ownership of their work.
  • Work safely and professionally.
  • Stay focused on the job-not on their phone.
  • Want to learn and grow with a company that values craftsmanship.

Packaging machinery experience is a plus, but we are willing to train someone with strong mechanical ability and the right attitude.
