Responsibilities include:- Mechanical assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and complete machines using hand and power tools.- Quality verification of parts throughout the assembly process.- Cutting, fabricating and general preparation of raw materials to be used in other component manufacturing processes.- Packing, palletizing or crating finished machinery for final shipment. Minimum requirements include:- High School Diploma or GED.- 2 years of professional experience.- Good eye-hand coordination and mechanical inclination.- Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40 pounds.- Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.- Knowledge of common mechanical components, including: fasteners, bearings, gearing and raw materials.- Ability to install pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems per schematics or directions.
