Coverage Needed

• End Date: Ongoing
• Scheduled Clinic Hours plus Call
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Call: Beeper; 30-minute response time
  • Friday 07:30-Friday 07:30
  • Clinic weekday call is shared
• OT after 9 hours

Clinical Details

• EMR System: Cerner
• Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient
• Patients Per Shift: 15
• Radiation Oncology Services
• Bone Marrow Biopsies
• Acute leukemic patients
• Inpatient chemo patients
• Rounding: 1-2 hours each day Mon-Sun.
  • Weekday afternoon rounding is done again 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Chemo Clinic: each provider supervises their own patients
• Documentation of post Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and post CAR-T cell Therapy patients
• Support Staff: 3 MDs, 3 APPs, RN/MA, Navigators, Infusion RNs
• Trauma Level: 2
• PEDs Level: 3
• Typical Call:
  • 1:4 weekly hospital call
  • 5-10 phone consults
  • add-on consults
  • patients Seen: rare
  • supervising chemo patients for providers that are gone

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible
• Fellowship required
• Bone Marrow Biopsies required
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS (AHA cert required)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
• Must be available full-time
