What You'll Do
  • Provide interventional radiology services including IR procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, drains, and abscess drainage
  • Handle stroke CTs, emergency imaging, and support ICU/ED cases
  • Cover hospital IR needs, including contrast-enhanced CTs and MRIs in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform diagnostic exams: CTs, ultrasounds, X-rays, and fluoroscopy
  • Collaborate with radiology nurses and techs to ensure smooth workflow
  • Support hospital coverage during scheduled shifts and possibly beyond

What You Need
  • Valid California medical license and active board certification in Radiology
  • 2+ years of IR experience, specifically in acute care settings
  • Procedural skills including biopsies, IR procedures, and stroke imaging
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR or similar systems
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
