General Surgery Physician Assistant
Wyoming - Near Yellowstone National Park!
POSITION
- Hospital-employed General Surgery PA
- Join an established, high-volume surgical practice alongside Dr. Thomas Etter
- Monday-Thursday clinic (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM-Noon)
- Typical clinic volume of approximately 15 patients/day
- Assist with pre-operative evaluations, post-operative care, inpatient rounding, and surgical first assist
- Opportunity to independently manage clinic patients while the surgeon is operating
- Shared call with surgeon (approximately 10 call days/month)
- Broad autonomy with physician support
SURGICAL EXPERIENCE
- Heavy Da Vinci robotic surgery
- Regional trauma experience
- Breast surgery
- Colon surgery
- Thyroid surgery
- Hernia repair (including complex hiatal hernias)
- Upper GI surgery
- Endoscopy
- Broad-spectrum rural General Surgery rarely seen in today's practice
