    Job Details
  • Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
  • Competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
  • Role adapted from ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
    Job Requirements
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience required.
  • Clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
  • Experience with CADD pumps (epidural and nerve block pumps) required.
  • Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from Nurse Licensure Compact required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    Schedule Information
  • 12-hour shifts.
  • 1st shift.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • Weekend work required: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
  • Option for day/night rotation with every other weekend off.
  • Float as needed.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: 2NT Trauma/ACS Progressive Care.
  • Care for trauma and acute coronary syndrome patients in a progressive care setting.
  • Primarily adult patient population.
    Additional Details
  • Urgent backfill position.
  • Preferred certifications and education not specified beyond requirements.
